A first car rental shouldn't need KD 500 you don't have.
There is no minimum income here and no credit file to build first. The first time you rent a car or book a room should not be the moment you discover that the system needs you to already have money.
The chicken-and-egg, stated plainly
You need a card to build a file
And you need a file — or a salary transfer, or collateral — to get the card. That loop is the entire problem, and no amount of being responsible breaks it from the inside.
You need cash to skip the card
Which means KD 300–KD 500 locked up for the length of a stay, at exactly the stage of life when that is the whole of the available money.
Be clear about what you are agreeing to
This is not a credit product and there is nothing to borrow. But there is one obligation: if a merchant makes a valid claim and we settle it, you repay us what we paid, and KD 50 of a full-ceiling claim is your own share. Read the pricing page before you apply, not after.
Is there a minimum age?
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract under Kuwaiti law. The eligibility check in the app confirms it before anything else.
Does this affect my credit record?
There is no credit line, so there is no credit line to report. We do not perform a credit check to issue the card.
What if I can't pay the membership?
The six-month plan spreads it at KD 15 a payment. If a payment is late, any charge goes to charity rather than to us — we have no financial interest in your being late.

Depozit does not offer credit. There is no credit line, no revolving balance, and no interest charged or paid on any part of this product. The guarantee covers 90% of the KD 500 ceiling; the remaining KD 50 is the cardholder's own responsibility.
