Privacy notice
This notice covers the Depozit website. The app has its own notice, presented in-app before identity verification.
What this site collects
This is a static marketing site. It has no accounts, no login, and no payment processing.
The only personal data it can receive is what you type into one of its forms: the waitlist form, the contact form, the merchant and partner enquiry forms, and the complaints form.
Each form, and what happens to it
- Waitlist
- Email address, the page you submitted from, and a timestamp. Used once, to tell you when applications open. Deleted after that message is sent, or immediately on request.
- Contact
- Name, email and your message. Kept only as long as needed to answer you.
- Merchant / partner enquiry
- Name, organisation, email and your message. Routed to the commercial team and kept for the life of the enquiry.
- Complaints
- Name, email and the details of the complaint. Retained under the record-keeping obligations that apply to a regulated complaints process.
What this site does not collect
No Civil ID images, no identity documents, and no card details. Those exist only in the app, and only after you begin verification.
No advertising cookies, and no third-party advertising pixels — on any page, before or after consent.
Your rights
Write to hello@depozit.app to see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you. We respond within 30 days.
Asking us to delete a waitlist address does not require a reason, and we do not ask for one.
Registration with the Central Bank of Kuwait is in progress. We are not yet authorised to issue cards.
Our four-contract structure has been submitted to an independent Sharia Supervisory Board for ruling.
BIN sponsorship is under negotiation with a Visa principal member.
Depozit does not offer credit. There is no credit line, no revolving balance, and no interest charged or paid on any part of this product. The guarantee covers 90% of the KD 500 ceiling; the remaining KD 50 is the cardholder's own responsibility.
